One thing is certain, anyway: a permanent Las Vegas memorial honoring the 58 victims who lost their lives on October 1, 2017 in the deadliest US mass shooting in modern history is likely years away before the commemorative structure is finalized.
And that’s probably as it should be: those with experience in dealing with tragic events and grief healing are urging Las Vegas officials to proceed slowly in designing a memorial to the victims of the Route 91 Harvest Festival shooting.
LVCVA in Tenuous Position
The LVCVA says when the time comes, it will do what it can to facilitate the memorial design and implementation. Authority spokesperson Jacqueline Peterson told Las Vegas Review-Journalcolumnist Richard Velotta this week that the agency’s mission of attracting conventions and growing tourism doesn’t exactly align with dedicating memorials, but nonetheless, the agency will make its resources available when the process begins. ผู้สนับสนุน สูตรสล็อต

New Jersey Republicans Seeking State Office Running on Anti-Casino Smoking Platforms Assemblyman Vince Polistina (R-Egg Harbor) and Don Guardian, the former Republican mayor of Atlantic City, say they both oppose allowing gamblers to light up inside casinos. Indoor casino smoking resumed July 4 following the extinguishment of New Jersey Gov. Phil Murphy’s (D) temporary ban because of COVID-19. I think the fact that casino revenue during the smoking ban was up over 10 percent in 2021 , as compared to the same time in 2019, we can see the ban did not hurt business,” Guardian opined this week. “With health as the top priority as we come out of the pandemic, we need to realize our casino employees and guests are placed at risk each time they enter a casino. They need our help.” Guardian, a one-term Atlantic City mayor who lost his reelection bid to the now-disgraced Frank Gilliam, is running to oust Assemblyman John Armato (D-Buena) in the 2nd Legislative Dist...
Cosmopolitan Las Vegas Now MGM Venue as Buyer Rapidly Completes Purchase As is par for the course under its asset-lite methodology, MGM doesn’t own any of Cosmopolitan’s real estate. A group comprised of the Cherng Family Trust, Stonepeak Partners, and Blackstone Real Estate Income Trust (BREIT) paid $4 billion for the integrated resort’s property assets. MGM entered a 30-year lease agreement with that consortium at an initial annual rate of $200 million. That rises 2% per year over the first 15 years. After that, the yearly increase is 2% or whatever the rise is by the Consumer Price Index (CPI), capped at 3%. After the initial 30-year term, MGM has three 10-year renewal options. ผู้สนับสนุน สล็อตแตกง่าย
